Weird People in CPT.

Throughout the last 1.75 years that I've been back from college and living at home I've met some really reaLLy weird people. I'm not talking about friends of friends and anything lame like that, but I'm talking about complete strangers that decide to approach me for a reason I cannot seem to comprehend. Maybe out of friendliness, maybe out of loneliness, maybe out of pity? Who knows *shrug*, but the bottom line is that they somehow see something in me, something I do, the way I look? that makes them feel a need to establish a deeper rapport with me.

In a few instances, for example, doing laundry at the laundrymat, it's expected that people will talk to you. Once I met a guy who somehow ended up telling me about his whole life story as a blackjack dealer in Reno, showed me his dealing license, and tried to convince me to drop my job and show me a new life as a black jack dealer in Reno. Luckily it was at that moment in the conversation my laundry was finished, I quickly folded my clothing, thanked him for the interesting conversation and BIZZOUNCED.

Granted we all meet strange people and it's no big deal, but the guy I met today was just straight up creepy. So I was driving to target after work, and I switch lanes in front of this guy. We were both going about 35mph, just chillin. I didn't think I cut him off, but apparently he thinks so, so he closely follows me ALL THE WAY INTO THE TARGET PARKING LOT. So at this point I'm thinking this guy is a nut case and I am a little anxious to see what the conversation will be like. So I step out of my car and I have no clue where or who this person is, and so I proceed to walk into target and all of sudden he comes outta nowhere and says "hey learn to drive!" of course I didn't think I did anything wrong so I reply "what the hell are you talking about?" So we argue back and forth he makes some snarky remark about asian driving while his sister is giving me the most gruesome look ever. I didn't really want to deal with it and I said, "If I cut you off I'm sorry, but I think you're taking this a bit overboard." He then replies with STFU-like comment and we part ways at target. Did he really need to go to target? I really don't know.

Now here's where the story gets creepy............. So I do my thang, grab some expensive ass bandanges for my laceration and pick up some snacks that are on sale (snacks on sale are impossible to resist). Everything seems normal, no more signs of the guy who needs to CHILL OUT, I get in my car and decide to get some gas at the 76 next to target. I start pumping gas, and I see this truck drive past me and immediately notice it's the weirdo from before. In my head I'm thinking two things "someone is about to get hurt" or "this is just a coincidence", ok....so I was really just thinking "someone is about to get hurt" I decide to ignore the fact that he just drove by, but a few moments later, I hear him get out of the car and say "Hey You!" At this point I'm ready for something to go down and he says "Hey look man, I'm really sorry about before, I felt really bad and I just really wanted to apologize for the way I acted..." a;slfjka;slkhdfj;lakj;laksjdf WHAT THE FOX??? HE'S APOLOGIZING?? AND WHERE THE HELL DID HE COME FROM?? WAS HE FOLLOWING ME THE WHOLE TIME? WAS HE WAITING OUTSIDE FOR ME? a;sdlfj;alskjdf;lk o_O ????

Ok so anyways....I was a little freaked out at this point so I decide to be nice, tell him crap like "we all have bad days" and he just keeps talking and talking and asks me what I like to do and then PROCEEDS TO ASK ME FOR MY PHONE NUMBER. o_O?!?!? (2x) WHAT THE FOX??? I was pretty honest and told him I was REALLY CREEPED out, and he then tried to convince me that it was ok, he's a good guy and thinks I'm a really interesting person and would like to hang out with me. I don't know what happened, but I believe in the good of people and decided it would be better to give him my number then give him a fake number which would lead him into causing some type of catastrophe somewhere else from the fact that I decided to lie to him (he seemed a bit mentally unstable). As a side caveat: if you are a girl in this situation, GET IN YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOOR, CALL THE POLICE. Fortunately for me, he was a pretty small fellow and I felt pretty confident if need be, I could handle the situation.

Anyways, as we parted ways, a feeling of silent discomfort struck through me as I realized how psycho this guy really was, and that he HAD MY PHONE NUMBER... I hope he doesn't call me EVER.. his name is Steven btw...about 5"4', middle eastern looking, could be jewish, and drives a large chevy truck I assume to compensate for his height. Haha just kidding, I hope he never reads this.....but who knows.....
