Insights on Canada

I know its been several weeks since our Seattle and Vancouver trip, however there were many valuable lessons learned.

Why don't we jump right into it: 1) The Canadian highway system is quite n00b, meaning they barely have any 2) Canadians are quite noobs at giving directions. So what happens when you put points 1 and 2 together, well...you guessed it....it pretty much leads to every american getting lost which pretty much implies that a majority of the canadians get lost themselves.

So upon arriving in Canada after a gruesome battle with the border from Seattle, we descend upon a nice city the canadians call "New Westminister." Of course we're lost at this point so a couple of us decide to grab some refreshments, some snacks and possibly cash back at the local Wal-Mart.

We as americans are often arrogant and full of it, so of course we think "hey, what the hell, american money is the shit, they should accept it everywhere, and they should definitely give me cash back in canadian dollars from my american checking account at their ATM's" Guess what? WRONG. If you owned an american store and some canadian tried to pay you canadian money what would you think? Most definitely something along the lines of "Get that crap outta here!! What the hell am I going to do with that" I definitely went into canada thinking we are the shit and definitely came out the wrong end of that bargain, no wonder everybody hates us. Hahaha.
