The evil demon robot.

Ever wonder what its like to talk on AIM with a 7-year old brother who is heavily influenced by cartoons and whatever junk he can find on the internet these days? Well if you do, here's what its like.

jojobobo827 (1:41:04 PM): jojobobo827 is idle right now
n0rmzZz (1:41:20 PM): then why is jojobobo827 messaging me
jojobobo827 (1:42:22 PM): this is auto respounce robot
jojobobo827 (1:42:31 PM): hi
n0rmzZz (1:42:47 PM): i don't think a auto response robot would spell "response" wrong
jojobobo827 (1:43:33 PM): static shock wave
n0rmzZz (1:43:58 PM): volcanic burst flame
jojobobo827 (1:44:09 PM): yessssss
jojobobo827 (1:44:43 PM): i am the evil demon robot
jojobobo827 (1:44:58 PM): muhahahaha
jojobobo827 (1:46:43 PM): you will not stop me
n0rmzZz (1:47:36 PM): too bad
n0rmzZz (1:47:37 PM): i just did
jojobobo827 (1:48:13 PM): all your friends are trapped with your family

n0rmzZz (1:49:55 PM): that means you are trapped there also
n0rmzZz (1:50:05 PM): since you are my little brother
jojobobo827 (1:50:06 PM): no
jojobobo827 (1:50:54 PM): i have already eaten your little brother
jojobobo827 (1:51:24 PM): he was so yummy
n0rmzZz (1:51:47 PM): oh you did? I guess I can't give him the box of yu-gi-oh cards I bought him today.
jojobobo827 (1:52:36 PM): do you have the 3 sacred beasts
jojobobo827 (1:53:19 PM): do you huh
n0rmzZz (1:53:37 PM): yes
n0rmzZz (1:53:54 PM): but I am going to return it, because you have eaten my little brother
jojobobo827 (1:54:33 PM): i havent eaten your little brother
n0rmzZz (1:55:29 PM): oh ok that's good, because I didn't really buy any yu-gi-oh cards either

My Valentine's Day Surprise

So waking up this morning , I had a pretty calm, low-key valentine's day spanned out in my head. Actually, I didn't really have anything spanned out in my head besides going to work and maybe overcoming my personal sloth and getting to the gym.

However this morning, when my little 7-year old brother Josh came into my room just like he does every morning, handed me some hand-made valentine's day cards. At first I initially wanted to reject him, and asked him why I wasn't good enough to get one of those cool "YugiOh" or "Pokemon" cards he was giving his classmates, haha. Which totally reminded me of those good ol' days where you passed out cards to everybody in your class and some of them even included delicious candies. Anyways, looking back at my brother's hand-made cards this morning, I took some time to open them as I was getting dressed for work and I totally got a kick out of what he wrote:

Dear Melinda, (sister)
You are a good Sister, And your good to me, I love you, You are warm as tea

Dear Norman,
Trees are big, grass is small, you will never be short, you will always be tall

Dear Ba Ba, (dad)
It is dark at night, and light at day, your always my dad, you are better that(than) okay

Dear Ma Ma, (mom)
You are sweet, and so is honey, you are lovable too, like a caring bunny

Love,
Josh

So long story short, I thought his vday cards were freaking awesome and way better than any stupid vday card with pikachu on the front which would've said something like , "[Fill in the blank] I choose youuuu!!!". All in all, I guess it just reminded me of why it's so great to be kid, and why kids are so remarkable. I just don't see how you can beat the creativity and genuineness.

Here are the fronts of the cards and a picture of the kiddo:

Good Times: My new workout buddy.

So in lieu of writing about all the recent events this weekend, I will be dedicating a post to my new workout buddy. What? Who? Where? How? These are all plausible questions when pondering about this "so-called-workout-buddy". What could possibly be entertaining normz to this degree? Well I'll give you a couple hints first:

I bought it at sportmart for 4.99.................

It's blue.....and made out of plastic...................

All of us (excluding any FOBs who didn't attend elementary school in california) used it to raise
money for the American Heart Association..............

Can you guess what it is?...............

Yep....its a jump rope. I have no clue what motivated me to go to sportsmart after work and purchase this bad boy, but damn is it a good workout. $5 bucks well spent.

On another note, I went to shoot around outside tonight and I realized that my pair of chinese jordans are pretty much obliterated. I'm pretty rough on my shoes in general and regardless of the 3-4 times I've glued the soles on these suckers back, my wishful thinking for the future of these shoes has come to an end. One of the seams completely ripped open and I was preeeetty darn close to saying "adios amigo" to my ankle. So I guess the moral of this story is:

FAKE JORDAN XI + NORMZ + OUTDOOR BASKETBALL GOODNESS = Some TOE' UP KICKS
(that means "really messed up shoes" for those that are illiterate in ebonics)

That is all I have to say for tonight. THE END.
